Travel & Entry Requirements

Do I need a visa to travel to Jamaica?
Guests travelling from the UK, USA, or France do not require a visa to enter Jamaica.

Do I need to complete any forms before travelling?
Yes. All travellers must complete the official Jamaica entry form at least 3 days before arrival using the following website:

Do I need a passport?
Yes. A valid passport is required for travel to Jamaica.

Which airport should I fly into?
Montego Bay Sangster International Airport (MBJ).

How far is the venue from the airport?
Approximately 15–20 minutes, depending on traffic.

When should I arrive in Jamaica?
Guests participating in the wedding (Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Master of Ceremony, Ring Bearers, Flower Girls) are advised to arrive at least 3 days before the wedding for rehearsal purposes.

Is travel insurance required?
Travel insurance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.

Accommodation & Transport

Where should I stay in Montego Bay?
Any accommodation within Montego Bay is suitable. Properties along Fairfield Avenue or nearby areas are recommended for proximity to the venue.

How far are recommended accommodations from the venue?
Most are approximately 15–20 minutes away.

Will transport be provided on the wedding day?
Please arrange your own transport unless otherwise stated.

Are taxis available?
Yes. Licensed taxis are widely available throughout Montego Bay.

Wedding Day Schedule

What time should I arrive at the venue?
Guests must arrive by 3:00 PM promptly.

What happens if I arrive late?
Guests arriving after 3:40 PM will not be permitted to enter the venue until after the ceremony has concluded.

What time does the ceremony begin?
The ceremony will begin at 3:40 PM.

What time will the wedding end?
The celebration is scheduled to conclude at 10:00 PM.

Ceremony & Reception Details

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be held outdoors.

Is seating provided?
Yes, seating will be provided for both the ceremony and the reception.

Is there assigned seating?
There is no assigned seating for the ceremony.
For the reception, a seating plan will be displayed and guests are kindly asked to sit at their assigned tables.

Children Policy

Are children invited?
Yes, children are welcome to attend the wedding.

Is there anything parents should be aware of?
Parents or guardians attending with children are kindly asked to sit on the outer side of the aisle during the ceremony to minimise disruptions.

Is childcare provided?
No childcare services will be provided.

Dress Code & Appearance

Is there a dress code?
Yes. The dress code is smart attire.

Are there any colours guests should avoid?
Guests are kindly asked not to wear any shades of white, champagne, or pink.

What type of footwear is recommended?
Low platform heels, wedges, or flat footwear are recommended as the ceremony will take place on grass.

Food & Drinks

Will food be provided?
Yes. A buffet-style meal will be provided for all guests.

Will drinks be available?
Yes. There will be an open bar until the tab reaches its limit. After this point, guests may purchase their own drinks from the venue bar.

Can dietary requirements be accommodated?
If you have specific dietary requirements, please inform the couple in advance.

Gifts & Plus-Ones

Are gifts expected?
Your presence is more than enough. However, monetary gifts are appreciated.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Only guests named on the invitation are invited, unless otherwise stated.

Photography & Social Media

Can guests take photos during the ceremony?
Yes, guests may take photos, but phones should be kept on silent during the ceremony.

Can I post photos on social media?
Yes, guests are welcome to share photos from the day.

Weather & Comfort

What will the weather be like?
The weather is expected to be sunny with humid air and a slight possibility of rain.

What happens if it rains?
The ceremony will still proceed as planned. Any necessary adjustments will be managed by the venue.

Will there be shade available?
Yes, shaded areas will be available.
